a few notes about Aspen
Inspired by Rhode campaigns, Nancy Meyers interiors, east coast summers, and the honesty of ordinary moments. I care a lot about the little things like wind through my jeep windows, the feeling of coming home to a clean house after a trip, messy tables after dinner with friends, all the moments that end up mattering more later. That's how I approach photography too. Less perfection and more feeling because what I wouldn't do to have just one more photo with my mom.
I blend documentary storytelling with prompts to create imagery that feels warm, grounded, and personal.
For the people romanticizing everything. The way someone looks at me from across the room, late summer evenings, friends in the kitchen, the feeling of a season of life before you realize it's ending. That is still the reason I do this now.
For my mom. For you. For me.

My philosophy
"if there ever comes a day when we can't be together, keep me in your heart." - winnie the pooh

I think the older I get, the more I realize how quickly life moves.
The people we love change.
Places change.
Whole seasons of life disappear before we even realize they’re ending.
Photography became important to me because I wanted to hold onto things a little longer —
the laughter around the dinner table,
late summer evenings,
the way someone looked at me when they thought no one noticed.
Not perfection.
Just proof we were here.
